All-girls team of Mission ShakthiSAT meets President Murmu


A group of girl students from rural Madhya Pradesh, part of the global Mission ShakthiSAT initiative, met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The mission, led by Space Kidz India, aims to launch a satellite to Low Earth Orbit in December and to the Moon next year. The students presented updates on the project, highlighting their involvement in designing and executing the spacecraft.

President Murmu praised the initiative, emphasizing its role in promoting STEM education and empowering young women. The mission unites 12,000 students from 108 countries, fostering global collaboration in space science. The project is expected to culminate in a hands-on payload integration session in India by 2026.
