In a significant development in Chhattisgarh, 27 Naxalites surrendered to security forces in Sukma district, highlighting the government’s ongoing efforts to bring extremists back into the mainstream. The surrendered cadres, including several active members of local Naxal outfits, handed over arms and ammunition as part of the state’s rehabilitation and surrender policy.
