In Andhra Pradesh, an Executive Officer has been suspended for allegedly transporting temple valuables without obtaining the required departmental approval.
According to Endowments Department officials, the officer moved sacred ornaments and other temple assets without following protocol, which mandates prior permission for the transport of any valuable items belonging to temples.
Authorities treated the violation as a serious lapse and immediately placed the officer under suspension. A detailed inquiry has been ordered to determine how the valuables were transported, who authorised the move, and whether additional staff were involved.
Officials stated that strict action will be taken if any further irregularities are uncovered.
