Messi’s Delhi Arrival Delayed Due to Dense Fog

Lionel Messi’s arrival in Delhi for the final leg of his G.O.A.T Tour has been delayed after his charter flight was held up due to foggy weather conditions in the national capital.

The Argentine football icon, who was in Mumbai for the second day of his three-day visit to India, was scheduled to land in Delhi earlier on Monday. However, dense fog disrupted flight operations, forcing a delay. Messi is currently at the Mumbai airport and is expected to depart shortly for Delhi to attend his final set of engagements, including a ticketed appearance at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium.

During his India tour, Messi thrilled fans in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata. In Mumbai, the World Cup winner posed with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and interacted with Bollywood celebrities and political leaders. Earlier, he made similar appearances in Hyderabad and Kolkata.

The Kolkata leg of the tour witnessed chaotic scenes at the Salt Lake Stadium, where disappointed fans reportedly damaged seats and entered the pitch after struggling to get a glimpse of the superstar, who was surrounded by officials and dignitaries.

Despite the delay, excitement remains high among fans in Delhi as they await Messi’s arrival to conclude the much-anticipated G.O.A.T Tour in India.
