AI & Robotics Workshop Held at Guntur

In June 2025, Guntur hosted a national-level AI and robotics workshop, the AI4AndhraPolice Hackathon, organized by the Andhra Pradesh Police Department at RVR & JC College of Engineering. Inaugurated by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the event aimed to harness artificial intelligence to enhance policing and public service solutions. Over 160 teams, including engineers, startups, and law enforcement officials, participated in the hackathon, focusing on developing AI-based solutions for real-world policing challenges.
