The state government of Andhra Pradesh has issued fresh instructions for urgent development and infrastructure strengthening in the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) parks across various districts. Officials have been tasked with ensuring amenities such as access roads, power supply, water, and effluent treatment systems are completed in parks earmarked for industrial clusters. The directive emphasises speeding up execution to attract investors and decentralise industrial growth beyond major cities.
The move is part of the broader strategy to boost jobs and economic activity at the district level, reducing dependence on metropolitan hubs. By improving infrastructure in smaller towns and linking them with transport-and-logistics networks, the government hopes to tap into local talent, promote entrepreneurship, and balance regional development.
