Comprehensive health camp conducted for police in Sangareddy.

A comprehensive health camp was held for police personnel at PSR Gardens in Sangareddy district on Wednesday. The event was organised jointly by the district Health Department in collaboration with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and the NMJ Cancer Institute, Hyderabad, bringing together over 80 doctors and paramedical staff across 13 medical disciplines.

During the camp, police personnel underwent health check-ups and screenings covering specialist fields including cardiology, endocrinology, general medicine and oncology, among others. At the event, Health Minister D. Rajanarsimha emphasised that while police officers serve the community by upholding the law and protecting society, it is equally important for the community to ensure their physical and mental well-being through regular health checks.

Similarly, the District Superintendent of Police, Paritosh Pankaj, called upon police personnel to prioritise their health and fitness, noting that the demands of policing require both physical stamina and mental resilience. He also recommended practices like yoga, meditation and regular exercise as part of maintaining overall wellness.
