Operation Kavach in the city from midnight | KR Bharat


Hyderabad Police conducted a massive citywide checking and frisking drive on Friday night under Operation Kavach, deploying 5,000 personnel and 10 drones to enhance public safety. The exercise, spanning the entire city, involved vehicle checks, frisking of individuals, and surveillance of sensitive areas.

Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar stated that the operation aims to curb anti-social activities, prevent crime, and ensure citizen safety. Officers from the Task Force, City Armed Reserve (CAR), and local police units actively participated in the drive, which is part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order.

The operation also focused on traffic monitoring, identification of suspicious activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, reflecting the city police’s proactive approach to urban security.
