Congress Using Azharuddin as Bait for Votes: Vinod Kumar

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) senior leader B. Vinod Kumar has accused the Congress party of using former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin as a political tool to lure minority votes ahead of the upcoming local elections in Telangana. Speaking to reporters, Vinod Kumar alleged that Congress leaders are exploiting Azharuddin’s popularity and community influence instead of focusing on development-oriented politics. He also criticized the party’s recent public meetings, calling them “emotionally driven campaigns lacking any real agenda for the state’s growth.”

Vinod Kumar further claimed that the Congress government has failed to deliver on its promises made during the assembly elections and is now resorting to diversion tactics. He stated that the people of Telangana are “well aware of these political stunts” and will respond appropriately in the next polls. Meanwhile, Congress leaders have dismissed his remarks as politically motivated, asserting that Azharuddin’s outreach is part of the party’s commitment to inclusiveness and minority representation.
