TGRTC Bus Brake Failure in Asifabad Injures 30 Passengers

Asifabad, Telangana: Thirty passengers were injured after a TGRTC bus suffered brake failure and veered into a cotton field near Parandholi village in Kumram Bheem Asifabad district on Thursday morning. Among the injured, one woman sustained serious injuries, while the remaining 29 passengers received minor injuries.

The bus, carrying around 40 passengers from Parandholi village to Adilabad, lost control on a slope of the ghat road. The quick thinking of the driver, who steered the vehicle into a cotton field, prevented a major accident.

The injured were immediately shifted to the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Adilabad, where TGRTC officials ensured proper treatment. Authorities confirmed that no fatalities occurred in the mishap.

TGRTC officials stated that they are reviewing safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
